A downloadable game

The purpose of this software is to help use your NES/Famicom/Famiclone as a personal computer without the need of special hardware. An on screen keyboard is provided to replace the physical keyboards required for G-BASIC, F-BASIC, etc.

Three applications are provided and may be loaded from the main menu. The first is 65FC BASIC, a 16 bit signed integer BASIC in a cut down form. It has many limits, but does support RPN expression evaluation, controller input, screen printing, etc.  It omits let for the 26 existing variables A to Z. It omits THEN for the IF statements just requiring a space. Whitespace is not supported to save resources.

65FC BASIC is intended to compete with the likes of BASIC PROGRAMMING and Spectravideo Compumate for the Atari VCS, MR BASIC Meets bits N Bytes for the Intellivision, and in a way also G-BASIC. While it is currently lacking many things found in those other products, it brings new ideas to the table. In particular, the onscreen keyboard.

The second application is an RPN calculator with 16 bit signed integers. Nothing too fancy. Provides a nice little GUI. The third is another nothing too fancy calendar application that allows scrolling through dates and years.

Several examples are provided in this download for you to type into 65FC BASIC. Hopefully this help you get started with helping us test this new and experimental software. We look forward to providing some cool updates and any needed support.
